JUNIOR ELITE FC

Established Since 1998

Junior Elite is an FA Charter Standard voluntary-ran grassroots football club based at the Bethlem Royal Hospital in Beckenham. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our members and our historical reputation of developing young players, particularly the younger members of society living in areas of deprivation and those from marginalised communities. We continue to demonstrate how to maximise young people’s potential through mentoring, coaching and providing opportunities to excel through football and sport.

Players such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United and Emile Smith Rowe of Arsenal are both bonafide graduates of Junior Elite and success stories from our football development program.

Junior Elite has an outstanding development programme that meets the needs of our players.
Generations of Junior Elite Graduates have made the successful transition 'from grassroots football to professional football'.
This process is all about timing. Any aspiring young footballer will have a long journey ahead of them, therefore, it’s important that they experience the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game in an environment where there is no pressure. Junior Elite and it’s experienced coaches provide the environment for players to thrive.
A number of our Graduates who are now playing regularly in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two have a common theme when it comes to their early development years. None of them went into a professional environment to early, instead choosing to learn, work hard and take the opportunity further on in their development.
This approach has no doubt seen many of our players enter the professional phase of their football journey hungry and ready to succeed, which as you can see has clearly been achieved.
